A teacher once said to me,"Your work is all so different, I guess you have not found your style." I felt SO complimented! I am not interested in having a style. I am interested in collaborating with the energy around me and giving voice to that! I love it all: oil paint, pastels that are hard and soft as well as oil based, gouache and ink, linen, paper and boards, landscape, abstraction and portraiture, the labored piece and the whimsy, the happy accident and the premeditated.
